Interact with our Horseshoe Crabs

Horseshoe crabs are marine arthropods that resemble crustaceans. They are one of Earth’s oldest living inhabitants with fossils dating back roughly 450 million years. This means that these ancient creatures even pre-date dinosaurs. For this reason, Horseshoe crabs are often commonly considered living fossils.

At Florida Keys Aquarium Encounters, our guests are invited to interact with our horseshoe crabs at our interactive marine touch tank, Conservation Cove.

Stop by our park in Marathon today and have some fun with our aquarium’s oldest existing animal.
