A Note from Florida Keys Aquarium Encounter on COVID-19

To our recent and future visitors of Aquarium Encounters. We are in constant contact with health officials and will continue to follow their updated guidance as provided.

We value the cleanliness of our facility and have ramped up our efforts to keep our guests and employees as safe as possible.  We have ample hand sanitizing stations throughout our facility.

Employees have been instructed to refrain from coming to work should they experience any sign of illness.

The Monroe County Tourist Development Council has launched a dedicated web page on its fla-keys.com website devoted to providing coronavirus information for travelers to the Keys. The direct link is: https://fla-keys.com/visitor-safety/coronavirus and the page includes a Frequently Asked Questions section. It is important to understand that the coronavirus situation is extremely fluid and changes on a daily basis. Thus the page is being updated daily including weekends as needed.

As concerns mount in the United States about the potential spread of COVID-19, Keys residents and visitors should continue to remain calm and make sure they get information from these trusted resources:

Centers for Disease Control (CDC)

Florida Department of Health

Monroe County Emergency Management

The state’s health department has established a dedicated COVID-19 hotline at 1-866-779- 6121. The call center is open seven days a week on a 24-hour basis.

Again, the health and wellbeing of our guests, employees and the communities where we live, work and play is of utmost importance. We thank everyone for their understanding during this unprecedented time.

Thank you once again!
